Unique Homemade Easter Baskets!

Make your own original and creative Easter baskets with your kids!
Here are step by step instructions to create them.
When you are finished, surprise your children with clever and fun treats that will put smiles on their faces!

"Cilly" Cylinder Bunny!

Yow will need:

One Oatmeal Cylinder (Large or Medium)
Spray Paint (any color you choose)
1" Ribbon (approx.1-2 feet)
Colored Felt
Craft Glue
Scissors
2" pom pom
3 colored pipe cleaners
Newspaper
Black Marker

Empty cylinder and brush out crumbs.
Place cylinder on newspaper and coat with spray paint (Best to spray outside)
Meausure 1 1/2" down from opening on opposite sides of cylinder. Using a marker, Mark with a small dot.
Take closed scissors and place pointed tips on the dot.
Twist with pressure until scissors poke a hole through cylinder. (approx. 1/2" in diameter)
Push end of ribbon through and knot inside cylinder to make the handle.
Cut out 2 ears, 2 eyes, and 2 oval feet with felt.
Glue eyes and feet to outside of cylinder.
Place glue on the bottom of ears and glue from inside of the cylinder.
Glue pipe cleaners on nose area.
Glue pom pom on top of pipe cleaners to make the nose.
Using Marker, draw on mouth under the nose.
Fill with Easter grass and treats...and enjoy!


Easter Bonnet Basket!
You will need:

One Plastic or Straw Hat
Scissors
One 10 x 12 piece of oak tag paper
Colored Ribbon
Craft Glue

Cut oak tag to desired length at 2" wide.
This will be your handle.
Glue handle from inside of hat from end to end.
Glue ribbon around the hat to create a colorful band.
Fill with Easter grass and treats! It's that easy!
